Heather is a Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in acute and primary care, shaped by more than 16 years in nursing. Her background includes extensive experience in a high-volume emergency department, where she developed a calm, decisive, and patient-centered approach to care across all ages and presentations.
She completed her Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) in 2024 and now practices in family medicine, with additional experience in orthopaedics, women’s health, men’s health, and aesthetics. Her clinical focus is on providing comprehensive, evidence-based care while building long-term relationships that support prevention, longevity, and overall well-being.
As a mother of two boys, she understands the realities of balancing health, family, and busy lives. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active through sports and hiking and values time spent outdoors—especially in warmer climates. She is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care.
Darwin Lahue

Darwin Lahue is a Family Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. His clinical background includes primary care, urgent care, and psychiatric emergency services, giving him broad experience in managing both acute health concerns and ongoing, complex healthcare needs.
Darwin previously practised in Drumheller with the Big Country Primary Care Network, where he established and managed his own panel of primary care patients. He is now building a new primary care practice in Airdrie at Legacy Health and is accepting new patients who are looking for a regular primary care provider.
His practice includes preventive care and routine health screening, chronic disease management, medication management, mental health care, acute health concerns, referrals and specialist coordination, and ongoing follow-up of laboratory and diagnostic results.
Darwin's approach emphasizes accessible, practical and evidence-informed care, with a focus on developing long-term relationships with his patients and helping them navigate their healthcare needs over time.
Darwin is currently accepting new patients of all ages for ongoing primary care at Legacy Health in Airdrie.

Dr. angela vinturache
Dr. Angela Vinturache is an Obstetrician and Clinician Scientist with particular interests in maternal medicine and benign gynecology, and research strengths in developmental physiology and perinatal epidemiology. She has extensive academic experience and a proven track record of collaboration across research, industry, and consultancy, and is the recipient of multiple national and international awards. She is well published in the scientific and clinical literature and is an experienced journal editor.
Dr. Angela Vinturache is also an active keynote speaker, medical writer, and medical educator, with a special focus on research and development, medical innovation, medical devices, and medical education. In addition to providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, she serves on numerous committees of professional organizations, working to advance women’s health and to improve patient experience through quality improvement initiatives, system-level change, and research.
